Healthy Children, Healthy Communities
The Healthy Children, Healthy Communities (HC2) project focuses on the intersection between climate change and mental health - an important, yet understudied, area of research in British Columbia (BC). The impacts of climate change underscore the need to develop a new arena of public health research and practice in mental health which works upstream to promote the resilience, health and wellbeing of children.
The aim of this study is to empower children to design, implement, teach and learn from community-based actions on climate change.
